The pressure switch is located up there buy the timer. Just take the that part off and there should be about four to six screws and it should get there.

My top loading machine will not stop fill it overflows is there anything I can do to fix it

Does the water come in when the machine is off ? If so, the fill valve is jammed open and needs to be replaced. If the water only floods the machine when the machine is on, it is most likely the preasure tube is blocked or the preasure switch is faulty. Job for an engineer.

Hot point wm vlsr1090g3ww leaking

Is this a top loading machine? Are you seeing water flowing through the overflow or are you thinking that may be your problem? Asking because I've personally never had a prob with that tube. Leaks have always been attributed to other causes. Top loading hotpoint leaks are usually caused by a leaking transmission seal, water drain pump, inlet valve or faulty pressure switch. Need more info sorry.

The problem is the pressure switch has failed. These are usually inexpensive and are very easy to replace. There is a video at this will walk you thru the inspection and replacement of this part. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Maytag washer will not fill

If it wont fill properly it sound to me me like a preasure switch. Take the control panel off and look at the load size selector switch (preasure switch). This has a hose connecting it to the wash tub. Follow that hose back to see if it may have some kind of blockage in the line. If not you may need to replace the switch.

No water to machine

Start checking the water supply connected to the machine, if water is regularly coming to the machine, the problem is either a faulty inlet valve, a defective membrane water level switch, or a faulty timer control (the first two are more likely).

Call a local technician and have the appliance fixed.

You find replacement parts and diagrams here.
