when phone is idle, the auto lock feature locks out the screen. you can set the time when lock engages or disable completely. To unlock, press top right corner button or use touchscreen options by sliding finger up from bottom to top or press unlock button on bottom of touchscreen
You need to recalibrate. Try pushing B, A, Hint, and Home when you turn it on. Do not have a cartridge in the player or it will think it is a regular Leapster. Once it says calibrate screen it will say to press A, then wait until a target appears in the upper left hand corner, touch it and you should hear a sound, then a new target appears in the lower left hand, repeat actions, then lower right hand screen, and finally the upper right hand screen. If it stops at any time and doesn't get more arrows, try it again or turn it off and see if the pen works. It may take a few tries to get it to recalibrate correctly.
the screen needs to be re-calibrated. Do this: while powering on the Leapster, hold down the ? key. If it's been worn off, it's the round key on the left hand side above the t-arrow keys and it's the middle button. A new screen will come up that lists Base Info Cart 1 Info, Cart 2 Info, Cart 3 Info. In the right hand corner is a "A" that you can touch with pen beside it, it says "Touch Calib" Touch on that.It will say starting...then in the upper left hand corner there is a +. touch it with pen. it will move to bottom left hand corner. Touch it with pen. It will move to right bottom corner. touch with pen. It will move to upper right hand corner. Touch with pen. It will move to the center of the screen. Touch with pen. Repeat until you come back to the Base Info screen. You're DONE! Power off and on again and you should be all set! Good luck!!
There must be "unlock" button at bottom left corner. Click on it and a new screen with another "unlock" button in the middle will be displayed. Press it and screen will be unlock. Let me know if this doesn't work for u..
Sometimes a watch will be off center due to shock, dead battery etc. Symptoms are; hands don’t line up, digital and analog time doesn’t match, Compass function doesn’t have the hands exactly opposite etc. This can all be fixed. The Synchronization function can be used:
1. Activate Crystal 2. Tap center until you are the unit’s screen (12h or 24h, F ft or C m). 3. Push and hold (at least five seconds) the center crown 4. Watch will beep and word (SYNCHRO) will appear in the display. 5. Use the top + button to line up the minute hand right on the 12. 6. Use the bottom – button to line up the hour hand right on the 12. 7. When finished, press crown and you will go back to time.
Has the unit ever been really wet or is there a hole in the touch screen foil? If not have you ever done a cold reset? . First turn the unit OFF, then HOLD your thumb on the furthest bottom right hand corner of the screen, push as far into the corner as you can on the screen itself. While holding your thumb/finger on the screen press and hold the POWER ON button until you see the ZUMO splash screen, once the splash screen is up you can release the power, but continue to hold your thumb in the right corner of the screen for another 5 - 10 seconds, you should see a window that pops up and asks "Do you really want to erase all user data?", make sure to answer YES to this window, if you don't see this window, then turn unit OFF and try the above instructions again, ensuring your thumb is in the furthest portion of the bottom right hand corner of the touch screen.
