Try pressing the "Fn" button and the "F2" button at the same time (ie: press and hold "Fn" and Press "F2"... that is the usual soft switch for most laptops.

New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

All the lights are on but no wifi connection.. and pc connection is also lost.

First, remove power from both, remove batteries, plug in wireless access point (Linksys) allow it to run a self test. Is it secured with a password? Plug in laptop/pc, boot normally. If that fails reset the Linksys to factory settings by pushing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds or so. Reconfigure your Linksys SSID and password. Respob to post for more info.

My touchsmart key board stopped working. it did this once before and I think I somehow pushed some buttons and accidentally got it working again but now it has stopped again. is there a button or switch...

looks like this is a wireless keyboard? If so there is usually a connect button on the bottom of the keyboard and/or on the unit itself. You may have just lost the keyboard to wireless receiver connection.

Internet connection light

Help & Support has everything that's in the owner's Guide. Just ask it.

Top left button, above the keyboard, is Wireless On/Off.

If nothing happens, go to CONTROL PANEL / NETWORK CONNECTIONS. R-click on Wireless Network Connection. L-click DISABLE. Wait about 5 seconds, do it again and L-click ENABLE. That should reset the modem and get things going.

After you establish an internet connection, go to START / PROGRAMS / HP / HP (SOFTWARE) UPDATES and install the latest patches. They will include aa newer version of HP Wireless Assistant

Good luck.

Wireless Connection Won't Connect

Sounds like something is up with the Windows' utility's ability to create profiles for you. Profiles store which network you want to connect to, the encryption scheme, password, and rules about connecting to the network. If your wireless device has a utility you can use instead I would highly recommend it above the Windows utility.

Wireless mouse will not work

Look on the bottom of the mouse for a connect button and also on the wireless receiver. Push the button on the mouse first, release and then push the button on the receiver.
