Problem with my printer
Hello, I bought a printer a few months ago but it doesn't seem to work. I've installed the proper drivers but every time I try printing sth a got a message "Service error 5100, cancel printing and then turn the printer off and on again" and when I do so it still won't work. What shall I do

Well, gonna say this is a cannon printer correct? This seems to be kind of common, usually is a problem with the carriage inside of the printer.
Check inside your printer through the gears that you can see under the lid, then use some canned air and spray it in there, is there any physical damage?

Yes, Cartrige problem,
Check cartridge fitting.
I had same, checked - Black cartridge was not seated correctly.
Clicked back into place - everything now OK.
