When i am sewing the stiches on top, but its at the bottom

change the needle --make sure it's the right one for the fabric
being sewed

rethread the machine top and bobbin

make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case

also check the top thread tension, if the stitches under the fabric
are loose adjust the top thread tension one number or letter higher
at a time and sew on a scrap piece of fabric till the stitches look
normal

My machine is baby lock.it suddenly got a problem.it is: it sews a few stiches and stops and it goes on like this

here are some suggestions, if the suggstions don't help then it
would be a good idea to have the machine check to see if something
in wrong with the computer part of the machine
1. change the needle--make sure it's the right needle for the fabric
2. rethread the machine top & bobbin,,make sure to use every
thread guide
3. make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case
4. clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint

Top thread don't look right when i pull it it comes out

try changing the needle
try rethread the top thread
use every thread guide
use the right thread & needle for the fabric
adjust the top thread tension just a little forward, if that doesn't help
(write down where the top tension was before you moved it)
if adjusting the top thread tension doesn't help put the tension back
where it was
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin are for lint
here is a link for a free manual
http://www.brother-usa.com/ModelDocuments/Consumer/Users%20Manual/UM_CS_6000i_EN_2889.pdf

it's also possible that the machine could be slightly out of time
& it needs to be checked

I have a Simplicity Fashion Pro SW2145. My bottom stiches are loose loops and it becomes a mess when I try to sew. I have changed needles, rethreaded, cleaned all lint, oiled, and it has not fixed the...

Most likely caused by issues with your top tension if it is showing on the underside of the fabric, top thread is not being tensioned fully or at all. Check the tension dial is set to five and that the top thread is between the tension discs and under tension.

Best way is to lower the pressure foot as this engages the top tension. Then pull the thread from below the tension device, down near the needle bar, it should feel firm to you.

If not, then check top threading again, rethread and pull thread into the tension device, and test again. If there is some tension there, then you could try turning the top tension dial up to a higher number a little to see if this helps with the stitching.

Failing that, take it for a service, tension device is probably faulty.

I have a singer model 2200 inspo\iration sewing machine. The top stich sews perfect, but the bottom stich balls up.

Totally rethread your machine, then check your needle, put in new one if you haven't changed it in awhile or not sure if it is bent. Usually it is in the top threading for problems underneath. Also, make sure that you are using the same weight of thread top and bottom or else you can have problems. Good luck

Bobbin thread is loose (under stich)

Not a tension problem, refer to manual and rethread the top thread, 95% + this fixes problem.

Tension problems (?)

Well, I could have written this. I bought a used model from a repairman about a year ago. I have a Model 537FA and I'm going to throw it out in the rain leftover from TS Fay if I don't find some kind of help. :) I'm thinking it's a tension issue, but I can't seem to find a fix.

Does your tension on your top thread sometimes tighten to impossible to move in the middle of sewing. I know that mine does this and it causes the top thread to break. I don't know what's causing the bobbin mess.

Maybe someone will help us? Please!
