The fuser unit for this machine can only be installed by a technician as the fuser unit itself is not for sale to consumers.

Bad Fuser. Google a business called The Parts Drop to order.
It is not difficult to replace. Remove the back cover, 4 phillips screws pull out slide the new one in.
I would remove the fuser first though. And check the plastic in the ends of the fuser. If they are melted, then the power supply has failed and you will have to replace both the fuser and power supply. If the fuser looks normal no plastic on the end of the rolls melted, then just replace the fuser.

Hi i have a Xerox work centre workcenter m15i which when it turn on, it display heating Error.what could b the problem.assist

Heater quarz lamp is blown/cut. You can access it by removing the right side back vertical panel, removing a connector and four screws. You can pull the whole fuser assembly out very easily.
There is no spare part for the lamp itself. You must replace the fuser unit (which contains the lamp + thermostat).

Had a paper jam, cleared jam. Had made probably 30 copies prior to this happening and then the copier doesn't work - open heat error

You probably had an overheating condition that opened the thermostat of the fuser. You'll have to replace the fuser assembly because it is not a resetable thermostat. But before you do that, check the wiring (two smal white wires exitin from the fuser) for an open cirquit or a bad connection to the terminals.

Xerox copycenter c20 displaying "open heat error" and won't function.

Bad fuser. There is a mesh type heater in the heat roll that goes bad.
The fuser is in the right side door, at the top, Has the Caution Hot labels on it,
You remove the 4 silver phillips screws and slide it out.
Google a business called " the parts drop. They will have it and they are excellent to deal with, Call and talk with Brit or Elaine. Good people to do business with,

Low heat error display

You will need to replace the fuser. There is a fillimant type heater in the fuser roller that goes bad.
Google a business called "The Parts Drop".
They will have what you need. It is very easy to change. All you need is a phillips screw driver.
You open the right side door as if you were removing a jam. You will see 4 silver phillips screws, one with a thin plastic cover . Remove those 4 screws, unplug the one plug, slide the new one in and plug it in. It will warm up and be ready. I looked it up, the fuser is $160 and should be good for 40 thousand pages or more.

What is open heat errot

One of two things, both will require a fuser replacement.
Either the over hear thermostat has open, or and most likely the heating element built into the heat roller has failed. Normally the heating element burns out and displays that message, I have not found that roller assembly spared, and even if you try and swap one from a used fuser to new, they are really dificult to change because of the spring end contacts.
In simple terms, replace the fuser and you will fix the problem.
