Question about GPS
An reset or an update might fix it, but it could also have a bad digitizer (touch part of screen)
turn on your 3100 and locate the reset on the left of your unit (small pinhole) use a paperclip to insert and depress the reset switch.
if that fails and you want to try an update, you can get the update for the north american version HERE you have to sign in and register before they will let you download anything.
be patient if you install this update and dont interrupt it and follow the directions to the letter, or your unit will not function.
