You didn't say what "doesn't work"... The setting does not remain? The video doesn't play? How large is the video you are trying to play and what format (Mp4? 3GP?) is it? What kind of phone are you using?

More information is required please - Thank you.

My p4vmm2 rev.8.1 has only 256mb memory card and 128mb video card, my question is what would be the maximum bytes for memory card and video card can i install. Offcourse the compatible hardware..tnx

Looks like the max is 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 1 GB, which means you can get 2 512MB DDR266/200 2.5V DDR SDRAM chips.

as far as video cards, it will accept any AGP 4x or lower card. You could also put a PCI video card in it, but AGP is better.

Little black spots all over monitor that move and blink in and out

I have seen this problem before, ensure that your graphics card in being used completely. It is a sign that the setting for allocation of video memory is set a little low. Enter the BIOS by hitting the del key during POST the you would navigate to the option that shows your video memory. Either 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb, 1024mb this depends on the memory of your graphics card. Set it to the memory of your graphics card or try setting it one place higher than present, remember that if it doesn't work then set it back down again.
Also ensure to install the latest Nvidia drivers for your graphics card.
Please let me know if this solves your problem.

How can i allocate more memory to video card of acer aspire 5100

You can only do that with onboard video cards. If you have an onboard you can choose how much ram to assign to it in your bios settings. However it is limited and if you already have 128 assigned to it, that's probably about all it's gonna give ya. But hey it never hurts to check Assigning your physical memory to your graphics card will result a shortage of your total system memory and your whole system will slow down a bit.
Video cards meant for better processing the graphical content of your system and free up your system's physical memory.[via]
So, if you buy a new and better video card with more memory you will have a fast system with better performance.

Problem in installing ati integrated graphics card

The aperture size in your bios is the amount of main memory your card can use in case the card runs out of memory. It is intended for old video cards with very little or no on-board memory at all. For best performance with your card, set it to the lowest setting or turn it off completely. That May help.

ASUS P5VD2-MX SE video memory sharing

The message on the user's manual only indicates the possible maximum memory that can be shared with the video while in your bios you can see the actual shared memory. I think this could be case to do with the graphics card you are using i.e. is it onboard or an add on. In some cases too the manufactures of the motherboard are not the same manufactures of bios and therefore the manufacturer of the board has given it allowance to share up to 128mb while the bios manufacturer has given it up to 64mb. Remember many of the components on the board may come from different companies.

Video length

hi you may be able to indeed BUT it depends on how much Memory your phone has.. Often the manufacturers say that the phone can record for a certain amount of time.. BUT this is usually with the MAXIMUM amount of Memory that CAN BE installed. You may find that the amount your phone has is insufficient? Can you "Upgrade" your Memory in your phone? Thats all I can think of
