Turn everything off including any settings. Plug it back in and turn it on. See if the works for you.

I did that and it still didn't work. I hit the reset button too. The panel lights up but none of the functions work nor is the unit running. The on/off button acts as the mode button. What now?

Need to fix leaking on my simplicity portable air conditioner 6077 and how the drain works

If it is water in a thru window installation you will need to tilt the unit up a little so the condensate water drips outside. I hope this helps! Thank you and please leave feedback.

Where can i get a manual for a Simplicity Spac7088 air conditioner ?

On the device itself, you should see a customer service number. They should be able to help you order a new one. If they don't offer it, you might be able to go to the manufacturer's website. They might be able to help.

Why does the unit beep when I plug it in.

Good Morning Tina,

I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAM187S2A, beeps and flashes lights when you first plug it in. First, test the power supply cord by doing the following:

1. Plug in your air conditioner.
2. The power supply cord will have TWO buttons on the plug head. Press the TEST button. You will notice a click as the RESET button pops out.
3. Press the RESET button. Again you will notice a click as the button engages.
4. The power supply cord is now supplying electricity to the unit. (On some products this is also indicated by a light on the plug head)

NOTE:
• Do not use this device to turn the unit on or off.
• Always make sure the RESET button is pushed in for correct operation.
• The power supply cord must be replaced if it fails to reset when either the TEST button is pushed, or it cannot be reset. A new one can be obtained from the product manufacturer.
• If power supply cord is damaged, it CANNOT be repaired. It MUST be replaced by one obtained from the product manufacturer.

NOTE: Some plugs have buttons on the top.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
WP

I bought a 7000 BTU Simplicity portable air conditioner as is from Canadian Tire. It's only sold with the system unit. I don't see any hot air hose, but I also don't know where the hose would attach to the...

The hose has an adaptor, which is recantgular in shape, that attaches to the grill in the back, right side facing. If you do not have this adaptor you would have to order it from an appliance repair depoe, as well as the hose. Good luck. Google, simplicity spac7088 owners manual and you will see what i mean. gdm1454@yahoo.ca

I had a similar problem on a B&Q air conditioner and all it needed was the drain plug removing and the water draining out - then it started back up straight away

Fedders air conditioner beeps but doesn't turn on.

Unplugged unit first. Take control panel out but dont unplug wiring. Cut Firth wire out from the center on the touch pad six wire plug. Cap both ends and plug back in. now unit will run on high cool and turn it on and off by plug and unplug
