I have a blackjack samsung i607 where somebody played with it and is now asking for a password.

- ok i bought a phone from a friend that got it from some one else(blah blah blah)..so my problem is!!its asking me for a stupid password that IDK!!& i can't even get in it! it has this stupid message"this device is locked.enter your device password and press the 'done' softkey"*plus it has this timer!!..AT&t is no help because its a password from the origanal owner!(and i cant get it because no one knows it!)...so aka im screwed!!. but i've heard of hacking it or some code that can erase everything & pretty much make it like a brand new phone!!!(so if you know any code,manual,bissnes..ect)PLEASE!!LET ME KNOW!**thank you*:)- brittno3000Jul 25, 2008

- I have the same problem it just happened one day, it has unlock in the left lower soft key when I press it an 8 minute timer begins and it says this device is locked please enter passcode and press the "done" softkey. I have tried everything with no luck. I can receive calls but that's about it, I can't get in the phone to do anything else. I have tried 0000 and called att they said to put the PUK in and it didn't work. HELP? - GiamarisaBest Solution

if u have blackjack(1)..cuz idk if this will work for the others!!..but if ur locked out&its asking 4 a password that u don't know try this!
(1)turn phone off!!
(2)take sim card out!
(3)then ur gonna push the power button & the navigation up button @ the same time!!
(4)it will ask..some stupid question&it will say for something something push (1)..well u just have to push 1
(5)it will ask if u would like to earse all ur stuff u push (y)..for yes
*WARNING this will eares all stuff u had in phone befor including ur password so ur phone will let u back in!*

MY KIDS PLAY WITH THE PHONE AND THEY PUT A NEW PASWORD, HOW CAN I UNLOCK THE PASWORD IF I DO NOT NOW IT.

I have the same problem except the password i set it to just doesn't work. and it has a timer that blocks you from inputing the code until the timer gets to 0
