Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

I dropped my iphone. It had a hard cover on it so the screen is intact. The ipod was playing and continues to do so. However the screen is just white when you touch it. I can't turn it off. Any answers?

Hi.

Try calling the number. If the Iphone works, then LCD display is damaged, or the LCD ribbon cable has slipped out. The LCD display is blank because only the backlight is working.

If instead the Iphone is not even receiving calls, try connecting it to a computer with Itunes installed.
If the IPhone is not detected on computer, then there is a bigger damage, probably the Iphone control board.

Screen Freezing

It may be the type of file you're playing on it. See on my ipod, I was trying to play a episode of family guy. Sadly, the file was bad. I had to remove it off my ipod and find another place to download it from. That's what you may have to do

I dropped my iphone 3g flat on screen. now the screen is white. i still receive calls and plays music on a dock. help?

Your lcd is probably out. Look on ebay for it, price range is about 25-35 US dollars. Here is the screen replacement guide link : http://www.portatronics.com/guide/iPhone-3G-Repair-Guide/

Another thing, try resitting your screen wires. #1, #2, and #3. Maybe that will work.

Pionner cd-iu200v plays video from Iphone, no picture on avh4100

Check the initial settings menu (you will probably have to reset the system to get it to reappear) and set the aux 1 to IPOD. This will let the ipod video play via the aux 1 just like it is supposed to. This solution is buried in the manual but is really hard to pull together.

Can only use speakerphone to hear caller's voice on my iPhone

It's usually caused by a defective or dislodged electronic module that sits behind the ear speaker, this should be covered under warranty unless there are visible marks of the drop. If you're not covered, you can try a iphone repair guide websites, there are also places that sell iphone parts.

Video Not Playing

Any clicking of a hard drive means physical damage. Have you ever dropped the Ipod? Is it still under the Apple care warranty? If your ipod has been dropped or received considerable shock, it's most likely effected the internal hard drive, especially to the point to where you can hear it?

go to

http://www.apple.com/support/

The back rear side of the ipod has a serial number. Enter it at the bottom of the page for the link provided. If the Ipod is still covered by the warranty and has NO signs of user fault, then I would take advantage of the warranty.

Hope this helps.
