A paper has struck in printer so its not printing how to remove the paper

1) Open the top cover
2) Remove the toner cartridge
3) Remove any paper from the multipurpose tray
4) If you can see the LEADING EDGE of the jammed paper slowly pull it out.
This may be easiest from either the multipurpose tray side or from under the toner cartridge
5) If you can see the TRAIL EDGE of the jammed paper slowly push it through the printer until it comes out

Before printer begins it does not pull paper to priny on

If you look at the inside edge of the paper tray, you should see pick-up rollers. Check to see if those rollers turn when the printer begins. If not, you probably have a mechanical problem like a bad belt, gear, or pulley. If the rollers do turn, make sure that the paper is properly seated against the inside edge of the paper tray. Also make sure that the inside paper edges are not bent or creased. Sometimes it also helps to pull out the stack of paper, fan the inside edges by running your finger or thumb from top to bottom, and reinsert the paper.

Thin paper was fed into the printer . It must have gotten bunched up- I can't access any piece of it and the printer will not work.

If the thickness of the paper was thin then the chances are you have got them chewed into the rollers and the edges. So first of all remove the cover after shutting off the printer. The rollers are mounted on side screws and end clips, you will have to carefully take them out to remove off the roller and retrieve the stuck paper, Carefully detach the motor drvie and use your finger to push softly so that the rollers roll on. do this to remove off all traces of paper and reset the rollers. Place back the covers and take a test with the printer paper. I hope it works out. Try to do it with good lighting to look into the fault. Helpful? Good day

At college we have a w7200, how can we print across the paper rather than down it, for example a panoramic image across the width of the paper and say 20cm high

Try selecting LANDSCAPE as opposed to PORTRAIT by using the proper print menu in your application rather than the simple print icon from most tool-bars.

You can usually find it in the FILE menus

Printing on premium glossy EPSON paper. It gets to the last inch and the edges are chewed and the printing is awful. It's just in that part on that paper. Everything else prints fine!

that sounds like a machine defect... if its new... go get it replaced... if its not... call a service tech... thats not an issue that you can fix...

Chews up paper while printing then jams paper.

Top loader or bottom loader? Ink-jet, dot-matrix or Laser? All have different reasons. Most common are ink-jets. Most common are top loaders. Most common cause is cheap paper. Buy ink-jet paper. Most people buy cheap copy paper (20#). Buy a good 25# or heavier paper to keep that from happening (especially w/ top loaders). People always worry about that extra dollar or two for paper, but it take an average of 10ml of ink to print 300 pages. That's 1 cartridge ($10 to $20 dollars) for less than 1 package of paper ($3 to $5).

Changing paper on HP Designjet 5500 Plotter

Step 1. Install a roll of paper on the spool, and install the spool on the printer. The fixed end of the spool should be on your right side as you face the printer. The paper should come off the top of the roll.

step 2. open the window and support it with the built in support. Lift the blue handle, located just to the right and above the spool adjacent to the black roller.

Step 3 Pull out about a yard of paper and feed it in front of the black roller and in back into the printer. You really don't need to be precise, the path will accept the paper. Keep pushing the paper until it comes up the the top, then pull the paper from the top.

Step 4 If the edge of the paper is cut square just line it up with the front edge of the printer and on the right there is a blue edge guide mark. If the paper has not been cut square then pull it out far enough that it reaches the spool and line the left and right edges up with the roll and also the blue line.

step 5 Lower the window and the handle. The printer will attempt to install the paper. Respond to the questions that appear on the screen and you should be good to go.

I can walk you through it by phone if you need more help.
