GE profile oven model # JSP26 display panel flashed and flutters, cannot read any of it, and it will not turn the oven off/on, none of the controls on the display panel work. Had to turn the oven off with...

Disconnect power to the range.
Remove the rear panel cover.
Disconnect....then re-connect all the wires on the oven control.
Replace the panels.
Plug the range in and try it again.
If this does not work the ERC(clock) must be replaced.

GE stove JSP40BB has digital readout all lit up. turning off power did not reset it.

Unplug the range.
Open the control panel to access the clock control.
Remove the wires from the control for 30 seconds.
Replace the wires on the control and plug the range back in.
If this does not clear the control you will have to replace the control.

I have a GE Profile built in oven and the F7 display with the beeping sound. Clear or cancel will not work What do I do

Hi there,
Well, F7 error code occures due to
A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)

Replace the ERC there are ten screws 3 on each side and 4 on the control leave the hex screws alone all you need is a phillip screwdriver.
REMEMBER TO SHUT OFF THE POWER FIRST lift and fold out the control panel remove the ribbon cable and remove the four screws that hold the control board . replace control panel in reverse order.
Good Luck!!

GE Profile Performance Spectra Range error code F0

F0 - F1 - F7 Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Kenmore gas Range -- Control Panel not working

Hi. your assessment is correct. when you have normal operations with the stove top and the control panel is blank or non operational, this will confirm either a wiring harness issue or a dead control circuit board. The wiring harness can sometimes become lose or the connectors can become corroded but, in this issue, i am sure its the ECB(electroninc control board). In this case, you will have to replace the board it self.

Please rate and god bless:)

Temperature is wrong

Many ranges show a beginning temperature that is higher than actual temperature, then the gap closes as it heats up.
Use a accurate oven thermometer to check your temps.
If it is faulty, it will not recalibrate to offset 200 degrees. You will have to replace the ERC.

XL44 Gas Range will not light

Kinda sounds like the hot surface igniter is out. It is located under the oven section under the bottom panel. They are relatively easy to replace except you need that oven today I'm sure. Let me know how it turned out.

To replace the hot surface you need to take the bottom panel off and access the assy you need a 1/4 nut runner and remove couple small screws unplug the igniter take it to a parts house and 12 to 20 dollars later you're good as gold. When I say parts house appliance parts.
