I have a MX330 given to me with the line 110 volt missing The inlet port looks like it doesn't have to be polarized Is that correct?

ac voltage is not polarized
only dc voltage needs correct polarity
as your unit is 110 volts it is a fair bet that it is ac voltage
There is not enough detail as to the socket configuration but if it looks like a 8 then the lead can be obtained from any retail shop
you have placed the question in the dishwasher catagory but what you state indicates that it is an electronic device and not a dish washer

What is the power voltage for the x235 got display model dosent have a power lead

There should be information about that cast into the outside of the display housing, Charlie, or it may be printed in insanely small print on the serial number label. Most likely, though, it'll be cast into the housing near the power jack. It'll also indicate polarity, but it won't tell you which size the power plug needs to be.

If you can't find the voltage & current requirements anywhere but you CAN find the little polarity indicator, you could buy a "universal" power supply with switchable voltage and polarity. Start with the power supply set to the correct polarity and the LOWEST voltage. If it doesn't work, step up one notch and try again. Increase voltage ONLY until the unit functions, and NO higher. Tape over the voltage selector switch when you have it right.

Just hooked up 8 smoke alarms to ademco 20P security system. All have solid red light showing smoke detection except for last one with EOLR.

check your polarity, if your using a polarity reversal module make sure you have the polarity correct on the feed voltage and the input voltage.

Digitech rp3 fx pedal too much voltage wont turn on

Usually the manuf. have diodes used as protection against over voltage or adapter polarity issues. Try the correct adapter (sleeve and tip have specific voltage polarity...check for drawing denoting each) and if it fails to power the unit up, it's probably time for Digitech authorized repair.

What voltage and polarity do the ACS-5 speakers require?

Computers always use DC voltage. Computer speakers receive DC voltage from the computer.
DC voltage has a Positive and Negative polarity.

In the power jack of the speaker, the Center pin is the Positive connection. The outer shell is the Negative connection.

Center hole of the DC adapter plug - Positive.
Outer shell of the DC adapter plug - Negative

Voltage 5 Volts DC.

In case you need it,

Completlly stop working after wrong polarity lead been plugged In

one of the first things that go are is the protection diode coming off the + input. Then a fuse and so on. Surface mount fuses are light in color (usially green with white text). Attempt to bypass these components with a small wire or paperclip. Once you follow the lead from positive input you will run into a black rectangular block about the size of a grain of rice with 3 leads. That will be your voltage regulator. Its set at the correct voltage, and since you already have a power supply with a set voltage, then you dont need it. Its also the first thing that blows when you switch polaritys. (voltage regulators have 3 pins - input output and ground) when you switch polaritys that ground becomes the "input" and ..... go to all http://www.alldatasheet.com/ and type in the text you see on that component. It will then identify the component and list its voltage output and at which pin.  Apply set voltage to lead and ... pray?

Best of luck.

BEFSR41 power supply?

Both the voltage and the polarity should be printed on the case of the router. The polarity should be right next to where the power plugs in.

The polarity information will look something like this:
--(-(+))--

If you take the router into a local Radio Shack, the clerk will probably be able to tell you which power supply you need.

Won't work

oh no maybe you used different adaptor some adaptor have reverse polarity. check the adaptor before plugging it..if you using variable voltage set to 3v then adjust also the polarity. the polarity should match the polarity of your camera.
