My phone is stuck in headset mode and i can't turn it off, how do i fix this?

If by "handsfree" mode you mean headset mode, it may help to plug and unplug the cord into the phone a few times, it could be stuck on the headset mode and this action may fix it. If by "handsfree" you mean speaker mode, the speaker button should do it, but if not, it could be broken.

Turn your phone off and remove the battery. Also tap the headset port (where a headset would normally plug into).

When you reboot it back up it should fix itself. If it doesn't you have a hardware problem (its physically broken) you can see if its under its 1 yr warranty to get your free replacement, or if its older - there's always cell phone insurance.

try this: get a headset connect it then disconnect it go to settings - profiles - and select another profile. If it doesnt work try to restore factory settings if you dont know the sercurity code it should be 12345 by default

open the headset port on top of phone and push the little square adapter connector part down with your nail, and that will take it out of headset mode..

try a couple of things. 1 turn off bluetooth 2 try turning off the headset 3 restart your phone 4 when everything else fails, take it to nokia.

my phone got a bit damp and had this problem, after a whole day of only being able to text i separated it from the battery and blow dried it, it was no longer stuck in headset mode when reassembled.

reset the phone settings but doing this ur phone memory will be erased u need to have aback up
