Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

After updating the firmware, you likely must do a factory reset. This is probably required so the keyboard will read and decide how much ram actually exists. At this site do the "factory reset" version:

you may have to dump somethings from the memory, the memory is finite and if there is no more room there is no more room. as far as I know there is no expansion memory for this keyboard

Korg PA800. Ram Upgrade

The pa800 has a fixed amount of Ram at 64mbs and it is not physically possible to upgrade the Ram. The pa2x has a removable128mbs Module and that can be upgraded via a 256mb Module from Korg.

PCM Ram full

PCM (or PRAM - Phase-Change memory) is similar to flash memory (NAND) in the respect that it is non-volatile (it doesn't get deleted when you power down). Expandability for PRAM can be proprietary and updating your keyboard may prove difficult, but there may be a better solution for you. Your synth has 3 usb ports. a front and rear high-speed USB2.0 port labeled as HOST, and specifically, a slower, but dedicated DEVICE port on the rear. The device port is a USB1.1 port but you can insert standard USB thumb drives formatted in FAT to this port for added storage for your samples.

Cheers!
