Question about Philips 47 in. LCD HDTV

My TV hasn't been used only once (I purchased it about 9 months ago)and I turned it on today and now have what appears to be spider veins and a hole in the screen that were never there. What has happened to my TV?

I don't know what could have hit it though - that's why I was wondering if it could be something else. I don't use the TV and it has been stored in an empty room by itself with nothing else near it.

How long after a spider bite treatment do the venom affects your body?

You have to be careful with spider bites. A couple of years ago I was bit by one and didn't realize it. I thought I had a mosquito bite on my leg which wouldn't go away for a couple of months, then it started getting bigger. It was hitting a nerve, so when it swelled up I couldn't step on my heal when I walked. Then I developed a staph infection, which my doctor gave me antibiotics for. I couldn't get rid of it, it started eating at the flesh. Finally they gave me Cipro which got rid of it. This is all over a 2 month period. So my answer is, it's hard to say. Each spider and each person is different.

Varicose veins, symptoms

Varicose veins are swollen and enlarged veins that are blue or dark purple in color that usually appear on the legs. They are a common medical issue. in both men and women. They are a vein or vein that appears twisted or enlarged along your skin's surface - often in the legs and ankles - and are a cosmetic blemish that usually do not cause any serious health complications, though it's possible they could trigger health problems. There are plenty of Vein clinics in Toronto who provide effective treatment procedures for vascular anomalies including varicose vein treatment using EVLT, spider veins removal, facial vein reduction etc. Varicose Veins

How to get reed of vercuse vain. i have alot of vercuse vain on my leg

Hi carleenedavi,

Have a nice day. My name is adieh.

Here are a few tips on how to remove and prevent spider veins:

1.Exercise regularly. Blood circulation is an easy varicose vein treatment. These veins are caused by clogged blood veins which become enlarged. Frequent exercise will increase your blood flow through your veins and prevent future blockages.
2.Avoid crossing your legs. When you cross your legs you restrict blood flow through your veins. A pinched vein can cause blood to sit stationary in a vein and form a spider vein over time.

3.Eat a diet high in vitamin C. Vitamin C has been proven to promote vein health and performance. Oranges are a great source of vitamin C as well as certain melons. Taking a vitamin C supplement daily is also a good idea.

4.If your spider veins are excessive, think about getting Scierotherapy. Scierotherapy is a medical procedure where they inject your varicose veins with a formula that closes the vein. After a few weeks the vein slowly starts to die and disappear.

Hope it helps.

Just had the same problem 1 month ago. My Whirlpool Duet front load made that terrible noise. 2 of the 3 spider arms were cracked. I hade a new hole tub with the spider arm and the shaft , because it is 10 years limited waranty . But if it is not under waranty it costs about 270$ for that tub you can buy it from many appliance parts web sites on the net. Good luck, huge job to all remove that thing

NO VIDEO

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.
