GE profile dryer,Runs fine but no heat

need to have the heat element checked with a multimeter and visually if u can and look for burns and corrosion and breaking of the wire connections. Also have the thermostats checked, Im assuming its electric and not gas? the thermal cut off may be bad and the hi-lo thermostat, these can shut heat off from the dryer. Ive replaced the element on my G.E profile and it wasn't all that hard rather simple.

Dryer will not produce heat. Dryer turns on and drum turns. Runs quiet but no heat. Clothes do not dry.

It is possible you need to replace your heater element or your thermostats .. depending on your model which you did not list. Your element and thermostats will cause it not to heat ... when you get your model go to www.sears.com/parts and you can possibly view your schematic if sears had ever sold it... get an ohm meter there cheap Lowe's home depot sears test for power on each of the three. clean the venting also..

Dryer ran for hours and did not stop automatically, now runs but wont heat?

Good day,
If set to automatic and there is no heat it will run continually run without shutting off. You'll need to trouble shoot the heating problem.

A lot of the problems are due to limit fuses and limit thermostats located in the back. Beyond that you'll need to supply the model and whether its gas or electric.

Dryer will not get hot. All the vents are clean.

Check for burnt out heating element and electrical connections to element and thermostats. If okay check all thermostats, operating and high limit, with an ohm meter. All must be in closed position. If element, thermostats, and electrical connections good then check timer.

The dryer runs but does not heat

Sounds like you have a problem with the heating coil or thermostats.
Remove the back of the dryer and look for the air tube from the blower to the drum. The heating coil and thermostats are normally located inside of the tube.
I hope this helps

NO HEAT

Sounds like your no heat problem is a faulty heating coil or thermostats.
Remove the back of the dryer and locate the air tube that runs from the blower to the drum.
The heating coil and thermostats are normally located inside of it.

Whrirlpool dryer not heating

Normal 0 Hi, Not sure this is the right model but, try this. UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and locate the element on the right hand side. Plug the dryer back in and test to see if there is 240V going to the element posts. If there is voltage, but no heat, change the element. If it does not, you need to test the thermostats for continuity. If any of the thermostats are open, replace it. If this is not the right model, please give me the model# and I can help. I hope this helps you.
Please let me know if this help or if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic
