Move the router closer to the computer. Or you can download a third party firmware, that will help with the wireless connection.

What is the speed of a belkin router model F5D8236-4v1

Hello Anonymous

This router has several interfaces each with a maximum speed, so you should specify which one you mean.
For example, the wireless interface can reach up to 300 Megabits per second (Mbps) at most.
The RJ45 can connect at 10 or 100 Mbps
But what most influences the speed of a conection to the internet is the one you have contracted with your ISP.
I hope my explanation will be helpful.

Low connection speed

Hello, the 100Mbps connection is to your router and not to the Internet. that means you can copy with a speed of 100Mbps(theoretically) between computers in YOUR network. You can test your Internet speed on, choose a nearby test point. If you paying for 2mbps and only getting 0.15 I suggest that you contact your Internet Provider because its very low if you paying for 2mbps.

Can only get a 10 meg when connected via cable to srx 200

The speed of your wireless adapter maybe up to 54 Mpbs only, check the wireless adapter that you have if it is 802.11 G its set to 54 Mbps only however if your using 802.11 N the speed of the adapter is around 300 mbps of connection.

There's a settings on the router that you can lock WAN port speed to around 10/100/1000

Note: To have a 300 Mbps of connection you should set the wireless settings of the router to WPA2 and AES with bandwidth of auto 20/40

Belkin n wireless usb speed problem

For your connection to reach 300 MBps, not only must your Belkin WiFi USB adapter be an N, so must your Access Point/Router also be N capable.  Additionally, your Internet/DSL connection would also be a limiting factor on your Internet Connection speed.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
