You're talking about the "Spud Washer" what brand is the toilet. Find that out and take it to a plumbing supply store ... they'll have it.

How to fit new fuel line to a Flymo maxi trim 430

Removing old fuel line/disassembly
  • Empty petrol tank
  • Use a hooked/bent piece of wire or similar to get fuel line and filter out of petrol tank filler hole
  • Remove fuel filter from end of fuel line
  • Remove air filter housing
  • Remove choke control/ plate from carburettor
  • Ease old fuel line from carb. inlet. And clean inlet tube if necessary
  • Gently but firmly pull old fuel line through hole in base of tank
Fitting new fuel line
  • the new fuel line has too big a diameter to fit through the hole in the base of the fuel tank.
  • To get round this I heated the end of the tube with a lit match (but a blow torch or gas ring would do) until it was soft enough to fashion into a point- take great care the plastic obviously gets very hot and could burn ***** flesh. The tapered end you form should be at least 1cm long. Allow to cool
  • Trim off the end of the tapered point if necessary
  • My next problem was to get the tapered end through the tiny hole inside the fuel tank. To help with this I took the innards out of a standard biro then put the fuel line through the empty tube with the tapered end projecting from where the ballpoint used to be. Push the tapered end through the hole inside the tank.(a torch was useful here to help see inside the tank)
  • Pull the fuel line through from below the tank until you have enough to push on to the fuel inlet on the carb.
  • Cut the tapered end off the tube and push onto the fuel inlet .
  • Cut the other end of the tube so there is enough length to reach all parts of the fuel tank.
  • Attach fuel filter and push it into petrol tank
  • Refit choke plate and air filter housing

How can I properly determine the amount of bar stools that will fit at the counter of my bar?

The safest method to measure the amount of stools needed is to measure the length of the counter top and then divide that number by two to roughly determine the number of stools that should fit at the counter.

The arm to the float broke off,so I purchased a float valve repair kit ("Fits" Eljer Toilet Part - Float Valve Repair Kit - #495-0189-00 ). However, I cannot for the ife of me figure out how...

Look under the stool for the water valve coming out of the wall and turn it clockwise till it stops turning. This will turn the water off. Flush the stool and get all the water out of the tank as possible.
Look where the water hose goes to the bottom of the stool tank. You will have to take the hose loose with a pair off big water pump pliers or crescent wrench.
After taking the hose loose from the stool, there will be a big nut just above where you took the hose off the tank. You will have to look under the tank to see this nut. Use the same wrench to take this nut loose. You may have to hold on to the old valve.
Once you get this nut off, the valve will be loose from the tank, and you will have a little water leak out of the tank which you can catch with a big towel.
You should be home free from here. Put the new one back in reverse order.

The toilet keeps running. I tried adjusting the float, I dont know what to do.

You will probably need to change the entire valve. Get a new valve that has a built in float and you can take all those old faulty parts out. Turn the water valve off under the stool, flush the stool once maybe twice to get all the water out of the tank. Have a big towel ready, because when you take the valve loose from the stool you will have a little water escape out the hole. The nut that holds the valve to the tank is under the tank. You will also have to take the supply water line loose from the valve.. You should probably go ahead and change the rubber flapper , which is located in the center of the inside of the tank. A new valve and flapper can be purchased at any hardware store.

After flush tank refills very slowly---is there a restictor that can be removed ..what color is it tell me what to do

probably not. your valve is corroded or stopped up. It pretty easy to change and you can buy one at most hardware stores.
(1) turn the water off to the stool
(2) unscrew the inlet hose coming from the wall to the stool valve (under the tank usually on the left)
(3) unscrew the big plastic nut holding the valve to the tank (the nut is under the tank) ( be sure to flush the stool and get as much water out of the tank before unscrewing the nut. Get a large towel or bowl as you will have some water leak from the tank when you pull the valve out.
(4) disconnect the overflow line coming from the valve to the center line in the tank. (this is just usually a little rubber hose about 1/4" around. You are ready to go get another valve. You might take the old one with you.

The tank wiggles/shakes doesnt seem secure. I am worried if I crank down on the bolts the tank will crack. Also my ceramic floor is not quit even there is a crunching noice when you set on the toilet....

you are correct if you overtighten the bolts the tank will crack.
They make rubber spacers that go between the tank and the stool, that can be put in to help the part of rocking or wiggly, try that.

with your toliet making a crunching noise on the tile, my first question is does the toliet rock at all? i would try and tighten the bolts on the base or the next step would be to pull the toliet and put a new wax ring then tighten it down. It makes a crunching sound because part of it is hitting the tile so makes sure it tight to the floor

I can't get the gas to flow on certain propane tanks and when I do it's not as hot as it should be. I have already replaced the regulator for th same problem. Multiple bad tanks??I have a Lynx L42PSFR-1

If you have old style tanks ( pre OPD valves) and an OPD style connection they sometimes have problems

If you have new style tanks the male fitting must extend far enough in to the tank fitting to press open the OPD valve Meaning the fitting needs to be tight.

I have had several tanks that would not work
Look inside the tank valve and you will see a small brass ring with 2 slots cut in it
These after repeated fillings will work loose
With a small screw driver you can gently tighten this ring
If it still does not work right take the tank to a good propane shop and they will have the proper tool to tighten this ring
The ring backing off will not allow the valve to completely open

How do you fit the ventura plus car seat onto the silver cross 3d pram?

This is a little difficult to explain in text, but here goes..

Recline the seat unit to it's lowest position.
On the arm rests of the pram, there is a piece of fabric covering each arm, these are attached via press studs, undo these and fold them backwards onto the seat area.
This will reveal a plastic hook underneath, these are folded down and need to be raised upwards.
Next, get the Ventura carseat and ensure that the handle is in the carrying postition (i.e facing upwards). On the base of the carseat at the back (directly underneath babys head) there is a distinct cut out shape that will fit snugly onto the bumper bar of the pram, place the carseat on top of the pram (so it is positioned on the seat facing you) and push it down gently. If this is the first time that you have done this, the material may be quite plumped up so you may need to push a little harder.
At the base of the carseat handle either side, there is a button (this is used to adjust the handle position) push these buttons down at the same time and move the handle backwards (away from you) until the handle makes an audible 'click', this means that this has now secured onto the plastic hooks that you first exposed on the arms of the pram.

This should now be securely fastened onto the pram.
I would also suggest that you visit this website as per the link below and download the user manual for the 3D so that you have this is picture format in front of you.

I hope this helps.
