SOURCE: Motorola V3 pins 1,2,3 shorted out...

Some people have had success putting their phone in a bag of rice for several days with battery out without turning it on. For some this works but it is usually only temporary. Plan on getting a new phone and transferring your info even if you get it to work as your days are likely numbered. Wish I had better news but water and electronics don't mix.

I have the same problem but I can't enter the debug menu using

I have a Motorola RAZR V3x which has worked reliably for about 3 years. Very recently (having been recharged a couple of hours earlier & without any prior suggestion of impending battery failure), the phone has refused to turn on and attempts to charge it with the factory charger do not even light the blue charge indicator. An attempt to charge it through the computer's USB port lit the blue charge indicator for about 1 second but also failed to charge the battery.

try a new battery if that does not help then take it to a mobile store and have them diagnosed the problem for you.

    Lost battery cover

You can either go to the store where you signed up for service & purchased the phone or you can buy one on EBAY. I saw a blue one for sale there for $4.99 + shipping. Prices vary and there will be shipping charges.

There might be a couple different colors of blue, so you will want to make sure you get the right color.

    Good luck!

Motorola RAZR V3 wont turn on.

go to a professional mobile repair tech and have the phone fully service and if the does not work have them reflash the original firmware or upgrade the existing firmware on the phone.

Hopefully that corrects your problem :)

    Phone wont turn on!

i have noticed that the mini plug for the charger and usb connection on RAZR V3 is sometimes sloppy. when the phone is charging it will definitely say battery charging on the external display and also flash the battery icon. i also noticed that the plug for the wall outlet is touchy.
make sure the plug is secure in the wall outlet
make sure the mini plug is secure in the phone
gently wiggle these connections if you have to till you get the battery charging message
if there are any connection problems there will be a unable to charge message instead.

Motorola RAZR V3 No signal (bars)

I had the same problem with my phone- i got a cheap generic battery to replace the old one (which wasn't holding a charge for a full day, at that) and then i lost all signal, basically. I tried what scm_pa said he did - charged my old battery up, with the phone off, till the charge was complete- turned the phone on, and voila, reception!

Blue light on outside display 1/2 on.

The blue light indicates that BlueTooth is powered on. On my phone it flashes. You can turn it off by going to Settings - Connection - Bluetooth Link - Set up - Power. Select and change to Off.
