Baby Lock Esanti ESI-2

The lcd screen on my machine has gone so dark I cannot recognize the charters or any features I may want to select. Was told the Esante ESI-2 lcd is no longer available, at least through Baby Lock. Can anyone suggest a distributor, wholesaler or other source to obtain a replacement screen.?

You might want to try this solution first, although maybe your dealer has already tried it. With your machine off, hold the start/stop button, the reverse button and the needle position button down with one hand. While holding them, turn the machine on. What will come up is a screen to recalibrate your LCD. You won't need the first screen, so press the thread cutting button one time. The next screen changes the brightness level. The reverse button on your machine makes it darker, and the needle position button makes it lighter. I stumbled upon this by accident one day while recalibrating. I'd like to know if this works for you, although by now, maybe you have bought a new screen...

When your BabyLock Esante ESi2 is otherwise working fine but the LCD display screen begins to grow darker and you find you just can't read it, the only thing you can do is replace the BabyLock Esante ESi2 LCD screen, or buy a new machine.BabyLock no longer stock this item direct, but there is an affordable replacement available.......Check this Link

My babylock esante esi-2 digital readout is very dim. is it adjustabel and/or what part do i change to bring it back to be able to read

The problem is probably the backlight of the LCD display or the LCD display. It's hard to determine which but either repair requires opening the case of the sewing machine to access the LCD. This site, , has a replacement backlight and a manual that walks you through the steps. This site, , has the LCD screen.

I hope this helps.

Do The ESE ESante Baby Lock hoops fit the ESI ESante Baby Lock machines

The Babylock Esante ESE1 and ESE2 hoops are not compatible with the Esante ESI1 or ESI2 hoops. The Babylock ESI1/2 used the same hoops as the Brother PC7000 and PC7500. The ESE1/2 use the hoops that are compatible with the Brother PC6500 and PE700 series embroidery machines.

I wish that I had better news for you. This site has hoops for sale for both the ESI1 and the ESE1: . If you need hoops for either machine, use the compatibility data on each machine type to help you find more vendors that may have the embroidery hoops.

LCD screen not working

I am writing in the belief this is an old ESi or ESE machine. Chrysler K cars have disappeared. My old Compaq died. Your machine LCD is on its last legs. The old machine displays had 3 layers: the touch screen; the LCD and the backlight. Most are unavailable as replacements, and if they are, prohibitively expensive. Time to find another machine.

Have you checked the dealer locator at the Babylock website?

Another option would be a Brother dealer as the machines are from the same "family".

Thread cutter

I had the same problem with my Ellegeo. It came with an extra bobbin case, the black part the comes out of the race that the bobbin sits in, and I used the new one. Worked like a charm and I haven't had a problem since. Good luck!
