Need your model number and further information to help . Do you see frost on the inside rear freezer wall ? Are the coils clean under the refrig ? Do you hear the freezer fan working ? Is the fan which cools the compressor working ?

This could be the thermostats playing up, but i fell its most likle to be the compressor giving up the gost on you,,,and a new compressor is pricy so try turning down the thermostats first

Gladiator ref is not cooling properly

Check to see if there is cold air coming from the freezer to the refridgerator side through the vent holes The compressor maybe getting weak or the freon charge maybe low. Does the unit run a long time before it shuts off? 50 degrees is not cold enough for a freezer. You should be around 32 or less.

Fridge part is 50 and Freezer part is 40

If your refrigerator is the model TFX27PRBWW then in photo below you see the defrost timer inside the fresh food compartment hidden by a cover. Turn the timer slowly clockwise until refrigerator stops. This should be defrost cycle. 30 minutes later the refrigerator should restart again, if not we need to replace the defrost timer. Go to link below and enter your model number that will take you to many of the same type just pick the one nearest yours. On left of screen choose the 4th photo down that is the part I'm focused on now. Let me know what you find, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Top mounted freezer on refrigerator not working

Move the refrigerator to a room that is at least 50 degrees F.

Temps on most refrigerators are regulated by the fresh foods temp. If your garage is let's say 35 degrees, the fresh foods temp will most likely never raise enough to turn the refrigerator on. With the refrigerator never running, the freezer compartment will warm to 35 degrees, resulting in everything melting. Even if garage is a bit warmer, say 45, the refrig will not run long enough for the freezer to maintain a low enough temperture. If the garage temp falls to below freezing, say 20 degrees, the food in the fresh foods compartment will freeze. (outdoor beverage dispensers have internal heaters to prevent product from freezing !) Please don't rate this if not a Fix-Ya for you, as anything else lowers my score.
