Question about Samsung LT-P1745 17 in. EDTV-Ready LCD Television
Model # SMH 9151W, Serial # J4M77MTSA00951M over-the-range
microwave oven has a 40 watt night light w/2 brightness settings--dim and dimmer. We are use to a much brighter light for stove-top cooking.
Do you have any suggestions to replacing the 40 watt light with a much brighter one?

You have dying power supply more likely due to bad caps, that is what you should look for, do not keep trying to use the TV or maore damage may result due to unstable DC voltages with a lot of AC ripples feeding the circuits.
Look for caps with leaking/bulging tops/bottom seals.

That problem from X main block. If you have volt meter or have axperience on electronic measurement, on panel plasma attached voltage for vs, vset, vsc, ve, va. Measure at the point of measurements. if there is a difference between the reference voltage on the panel, try to reset the voltage. If still do not work, please replace or contact samsung technician.
