Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

NO SOUND FROM MY APEX GB5108 TV

I had the same problem with mine, it turned out to be a fried audio board. I simply used the audio outputs on the back of the tv to drive a new reciever with surround. Sound a heck of a lot better than the speakers built into the tv.

Convergence IC's

Lines going across is a little vague but there is always the problem with the electrolytics (caps) around the vertical, be sure and get the one on the power supply too. Just change all you can find(usually 4-5). Thre are 2 convergence ic's if you didn't change them both, resolder the other one.
Then check the value on R519 for me.
