Yes, it's a USB 2.0 A Male to mini 8-pin flat Male. It should be less than $10.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Where can i get a usb cable for vivitar vivicam 5024, or can i use any vivicam usb cable?

If all you need the cord for is to download your pictures, you can accomplish this easier with a card reader.

USB Cable Vivitar for ViviCam 5385

Most probably find a Vivitar Vivicam 5385 manual here. Just send them a search request. Search service is not for free, but worthy.

Need a cable

You don't need a cable or any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said earlier, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Missing USB cable

I don't want to put specific websites on here (not sure that would be fair advertising), but if you Google this phrase "vivitar vivicam 8400 usb data cable", then you'll find several places that sell them. They're about $20 USD
