It is a raid driver that you need. older computers do not come ready for sata, and if you are installing xp, xp does not provide generic ones. you will have to find the drivers for your particular computer

I've never heard of downloading a driver for a internal hard drive. What I do know is that you have to make sure that the jumper is on the correct connections. example if your main harddrive is a master then you should put the jumper on the two pins that read slave. If you have a sata harddrive then you would just have to connect the data cable and the power cable without doing any jumper settings. well hope this helps.
