Take off the needle plate. There is a bracket near the front right area of the bobbin case. It is the position bracket that supports the case. First smooth the case of any rough edges, the put it in place and loosen the screw of the position bracket and align it in an area that will keep the case from spinning. There should be about 0.5mm of distance available when you use your finger and push the case from left to right, between the case and the bracket. Remember that the thread flows through this area, the case is held in place by the bracket but not tightly.

My husky star c 20 has stopped sewing. The wheel turns hard and when I try to sew the needle makes a jerky motion. In the past I have taken on the metal cover, taken out the bobbin case and brushed out the lint and it would sew for a hour and then the same problem again. I have had the machine checked out and no problem has been found. I am ready to throw it away.

My Huskystar c20 is not cathing the thread I think it looks like the timeing is off

Your timing is "retarded" (a real word meaning, just a little behind) Advance the hook a little when the needle is just at it\'s lowest point.

White 2037 Bobbin thread not spinning and noticed the needle hitting bottom of bobbin casing

it's sounds like the machine could be out of time & the machine needs to be checked at a sewing machine shop, to find out for sure.

Husqvarna Huskystar 207 Sewing Machine not stitching. It won't pull the bobin thread up to sew.

Be sure not to use Singer Needles. They are longer than standard needles. Don't know if this helps, but I did this once on my Huskystar 207 and that is what happened. It also damaged the bobbin thread.

How do you adjust the bobbin tension in the Huskystar C20 sewing machine, the manuel does not state this?

There is a screw on the bobbin holder. Clockwise=tighten, counter-clockwise=loosen. Hope this helps!

Bobbin case keeps on breaking on my Husqvarna Huskystar C20

What part of the bobbin case is breaking? I've never seen one break before.

Now if the bobbin case is rotating slightly in the machine and the needle is punching holes in it, there is a very simple way to fix this problem.

Set the bobbin case into the hook assembly as if reassembling the machine. There is a metal finger that it fits under on the left rear section of the case. If you place your index finger in the case where the bobbin fits and lift the back edge up against that metal finger, it should only come up about 0.8-1mm. If it raises up 2-3mm, this is the problem and the finger can be mechanically reformed to set closer to the bobbin case. Mechanical reforming is also known as bending. Push it down to the case and when you release pressure it should be close enough. This will keep the case from lifting so that it can't rotate during operation.

You may also be able to use a craft knife to remove all of the rough edges caused by the needle strikes on the bobbin case. I often do this for my customers so that we can be sure that a new case won't be damaged. When the customer brings it back for an annual service, I replace the bobbin case at that time.

I had this problem when I first bought my machine. I took it in and they told me it was a recall problem. All the machines were having the same problem. They fixed it and I have not had the problem since. I bought mine at a Joanne fabrics. Hope this helps.

Machine not working

I had this happen the first day I got my machine. The bobbin case has probably came loose from the holder. There is a step by step cleaning instruction in the manual and it tells you how to reset the bobbin case in the holder in the manual.
