You have to determine where the leaks is coming from. Start with the water pump, check all hoses and water seals, ( that is if a hole in the tub is not visible).

My zanussi us leaking water as soon as it starts to fill. I've cleaned the pump and detergent door but no help. It's leaking from underneath somewhere

It sounds like there may be a split in the fill hose! Go to the Zanussi web sit and you should be able to buy one for a few £££. Take the top and back off your machine and you should see the hose if you follow the pipe where the water connects.

Water leaks from bottom of washer a day after I've done laundry

My guess is you have a slow leak in the inlet. Probably somewhere after the valve. Try turning the valves off between washes. If that fixes it you know it's an inlet leak. There is usually a pair rubber hoses (same connectors as a garden hose) connecting the washer to the inlet valves. In order of ease/price of fixing:
  • one of the gaskets in the hoses is cracked ($0.05)
  • one of the hoses has a crack or isn't sealing properly ($10)
  • the valve outside the washer is leaking ($15 if you DIY, $150 for plumber)
  • The connector or valve in the washer is leaking ($20-$30 if you DIY, $$$ if you pay a repairman, $0 if it's under warranty)

Water leaks into the vehicle on the front,

It could be a plain old fashioned leak around the windscreen - difficult to find but try sitting in the car while somebody plays a water hose over the windscreen.

It could also be a blocked drain in the ventilation system - fresh air is normally drawn in to a car via vents at the bottom of the windscreen. These vents normally lead to a "box" like structure where any water that enters the vents drops to the bottom and then drains away via a short hose that runs to somewhere underneath the car.
If the drain outlet or hose gets blocked (by leaves for example), it can cause the box to fill with water to the point where it can leak out in to the passenger area.

Hope this helps you find the problem.

After i start my l g dishwasher it stops and flashes l e on the start button , and the water wont drain

The LE error is saying that water is "leaking" out of the dishwasher before it is being intentionally pumped out. If you have checked underneath the unit for a real leak, then 99% of the time, your problem is related to a law of physics.

Follow the drain hose from underneath the dishwasher over to where it connects to the drain (normally the disposal) I bet you will find that the dishwasher is connected directly to that drain and not connected through an air gap. The hose is probably routed along the floor with no high point.

The drain hose must have a high point in it somewhere in the run so that a natural siphon does not get created and "pulls" the water out of the dishwasher while it is running.

Best way to fix it is to install a dishwasher air gap (almost free at any real hardware store) but you can also lift the hose and attach it somewhere to (under) the counter. That will prevent the LE error.

Amana top loading super capacity LWD35AW leaking

Hello horshomom
Welcome

You said, You just found out my machine is leaking underneath somewhere and you haven't taken it apart yet. Any suggestions or ideas?

How old is the machine?
How much water leaks and when?

It usually is a leak in or around the drain hose.
I've seen a clamp vibrate loose near the pump.

You should be able to find it!

Let me know. Huuum

Leaking water

we had the same issue, and it turned out that our filters inside the unit (the indoor unit) were pretty dirty and needed a clean, and also the run-off pipe/hose was blocked with a sludge, etc. We had to clean the filters inside just with warm soapy water and then blow up the hose outside and it fixed it pretty much straight away.

handy tip - take your mouth off the hose quickly, as the sludge will come out of there pretty quickly as the handy one found out!

water leak from cold hose nothing to do with other problem. tighten hose connection and fit a new hose washer overfilling probably because air chamber blocked. remove lid. you will see a pressurestat somewhere at the top - usually round with anything from 3 to 7 wires and a small tube underneath. follow hose down and it connects to the air chamber. make sure this is free of gung and check hose for splits and has no blockage. to check the pressure stat itself, attach your own hose to the stat and while machine in fill mode, blow down this hose and you should hear a click and water intake will stop
