Strange problem, try using channel locks on both parts of the chuck to loosen it more. Maybe that will work.

My makita SDS rotary hammer drill leaves the bit in the hole while drilling. It is like it doesn't hold the bit anymore. What could be the problem and how do I disassemble the Chuck?

if you are using a normal 3 jaw chuck on the drill , that is normal when hammering
the vibrations loosen of the chuck
a method to stop it is to ensure the chuck is tight and keep pulling the drill out of the hole to remove the grit that jams the bit

Milwaukee Magnum Hammer Drill

If the chuck is completely jammed, you can replace it. If its locked but open, then you can remove the screw holding the chuck with an allen wrench. It's going be be tough because it will be secured with glue, such as loc-tite, and it will also be a left handed screw. So be sure to turn clockwise to unscrew it.

You can buy the part at this website, or at a milwaukee service center:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/12-chuck-p-140621.html

It's a little pricey, but better than buying a new drill. You should also be able to have a service center put the part on for you, if you don't feel comfortable taking it apart.

How do I straighten a chuck bend off removing a jammed bit?

If this is a TE7 then the chuck will just pop off of the front end. You just pull the rear chuck sleeve foward to release the chuck. With the chuck off run the drill to see if the cylinder is bent. If you bent the cylinder it will wobble. If the cylinder is okay just order a new chuck. If the cylinder is bent then your best choice is to send it to Hilti and have it repaired by them. They have a ceiling on the amount the repair would be and you would get a warranty with the repair. It would be cheaper than you trying to buy the cylinder and replacing it yourself.

I have a 6011d cordless Iam trying to remove the chuck appearantly someone has tried removing and the allen capscrew is damaged . Would anyone have a solution for removing the screw?

You could try a screw extractor, the only problem is this may likely be a reverse threaded screw (probably why it was damaged in the first place) Try and jam(gently sort of) in a bigger hex wrench If it is beyond a hex wrench you could try to drill it out with a slightly bigger bit then the hex socket, but only drill down a little bit further then the socket hole originally was. Don't drill into the shaft of the screw. then try to screw a sheet metal screw into the hole. You want it to be big enough so it binds to the sides of the hole. Then as you tighten the screw you may loosen the hex screw.

Cannot remove bit from chuck brother-in-law put a small phillips head bit in the chuck

try to jam the chuck so its open. Put the forward and reverse so that it is slipping (like a grinding gear sound) and hold the drill upside down. If that doesn't work ,buy a screw extractor kit.

Screw in chuck is unknown size

this can be a problem if you have been using reversible drill bits in chuck as they tend to drill out screw head when drill bit jams if this has happened you may have to drill screw and use an easy out remember it will probable be a left hand thread

My new bits 22mm and below keep jamming and burning the wood

All new bits come with a 'dressing' to stop corrosion. To remove it, spray with releasing oil ( wd40 or sim) and leave for about an hour. Wipe clean with a lint free cloth. This will also protect your bits from becoming rusted in the future. If you are drilling high grain woods like oak or beech, which are very hard, don't push the drill bit in, let the drill do it's work and just drill slowly, the harder you push, the more friction will created. Regards, dave.
