Go to menu, settings and tools, phone settings and then security. The lock code (if it is hasn't been changed) should be the last 4 digits of the cell phone number. There should be a selection in there that says reset phone or reset defaults.

How to format nokia 2690?

Yo! if really you want to format your phone, all you need to do is to restore factory settings. you can do this from the settings of your phone.
NOTE: restoring factory settings puts your phone in the mode it came from the factory. everything on the phone memory gets deleted, so think well.
