First, you can unplug the printer and replug. You can also restart the printer and computer. If printer is not detected then you should replace the printer cable.
Second, Start > Run > type services.msc > OK
Find printer spooler services > right click stop and then right click start.
Find any lexmark services in the list. If you find any services the Right click and stop and then start in automatic.
Third, Delete all temporary files, and folders.
Fourth, Start > printer > open the printer and delete or cancel all the queue documents.
Fifth, Restart the computer and printer . Now check.
If problem still same then you need to uninstall printer.
You should also delete all entry from registry key.
After uninstall of printer, you can install a fresh installation of printer.

How do I clean the rollers on lexmark x2500

You can try to clean the rollers with a cotton bud to reach it.
Leading cause of paper misfeeds is debris or foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any obstructions.

Lexmark x2500 won't feed. only right feeder worked

Depending on the age of your printer, and overall usage the pickup rollers tend to glaze over with use and age, you could look on ebay for replacement replacement rollers, but before you do, visually check the rollers, this requires the removal of paper from the printer and visually looking into the paper feed area, look for anything that could cause the roller not to function as it should, this could a small piece of paper left over from a previous paper jam to something that got knocked in to the printer.Once this has been checked, insert one sheet of paper and look at the feed operation when you print a "Test Page", check that both rollers are turning freely and not binding. if everything checks out and the rollers need to be replaced, try this before ordering new ones, remove the old rollers and turn the rubber pickup band inside out..I have heard that this worked and depending on your printer usage this could be what gets you by until the new roller arrives..

Lexmark all in one new printer

Hi Susie,
This could be due to a dirty feed roller or maybe the type of paper that you are using. What you can do is inspect the feed roller and make sure there is no debris or dirt in it. You will find the roller at the end of the paper tray. Hope it helps.

Paper jam on Lexmark X2500. Have tried numerous solutions

Please try this step if it still fails then its the problem with hardware of printer,

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

My printer will not completely roll paper through the printer

Maybe the cartridges are in slightly crooked. Take them out and put them back in. Make sure there is no paper or any other obstruction around there and try again. :)

Paper feed

The most common factor here is moisture in the paper if it has sat too long. Try just line feeds to see if the transport is at fault or the paper is the problem and inspect the paper feed rollers to see if any debris is fouling things up.
