Hello, connect your thermal camera at the car-charger, if available, or better pull out the battery and try to start this camera only with the power adaptor connected. See if there is any blink- led, image.

These PALM IR have known battery problems.

The brush part doesn't spin anymore. I checked it and a little blk rubber piece fell out

For the brush to stop spinning, this suggests the belt has snapped or come off the motor. The little black rubber piece which fell out may be the remains of a chewed up belt. I suggest checking the belt is where it should be, may be hidden under a removable cover, and that it is stretched round the motor spindle.

You aren't going to find that information anywhere. My advice is to either return it to Palm, or buy a spare one. There is one for $4 that needs a charger.

Tail lights stay on with ignition off

The brakelight switch is located somewhere on your brake pedal arm. On many cars, there is a small rubber piece that the brakelight switch makes contact with. If that piece of rubber falls off the tail lights will stay on all the time. Look around in your floorboard for pieces of rubber or plastic. You can find another piece of rubber and glue it on if this happens. Or if the one that fell off is intact just glue it back on with superglue.

Or the brakelight switch could be stuck.

A white piece fell out from the spot next to the memory chip of my Nikon coolpix P4 camera, now the camera will not turn on, can you tell me what this piece is for and if my camera can be fixed, thanks

if you feel technically inclined you can open the camera carefully and take it apart to the point where you can remove the upper circuit board ( NOTE 1: make a careful note of every screw you remove since they are different size and need to be used exactly in the same order) and then the small black plastic assembly above the circuit board below, you can see the defective switch on top of the 2nd board, remove the plastic part of the switch until you see the bare 2 contacts on the circuit board, solder a small piece of wire to bridge the contacts, now very carefully reassemble the camera observing the exact order of screws used, see NOTE 1. If everything is back in order insert the battery and the camera should work now.
note: should you not be inclined to do this work and want to sell the camera as is for spare parts I am interested, drop me a note at: cocnutray at yahoo.com. A Nikon repair shop will charge between $80 to $110 FOR THIS TYPE OF REPAIR, THEY WILL ACTUALLY REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE MICRO-SWITCH. HOPE THIS HELPS :-)

Try contacting Baby Bjorn direct (www.babybjorn.com) or popping into a local Baby Bjorn stockist, who should be able to order in the spare part for you for a small fee.

Batteries replacement

The piece of plastic where your palm would rest on the mouse is the compartment for the batteries. Locate the piece of plastic with the GE logo on it. You need to slide that piece of plastic away from the direction of the mouse buttons. You will then be able to put the batteries inside and slip the piece of plastic back on.
