Do you hear the fans and drives powering up on the computer tower when you hit the power button? If not it is most likely the power supply that needs replaced. If it is this is a fairly unit to fix. Four screws secure the power supply into the computer. Unplug all power plug connections inside the computer from all the drives (DVD/CD, Hard Drive), and the main power connection to the motherboard. *reverse procedure to install. If it is the power supply be sure the replacement power supply will supply enough wattage to run you machine. I would suggest a slightly higher Wattage power supply than the one you are replacing.

Does the rest of the computer light up? Can you hear the hard drive spinning or clicking? Also, do you hear any beeps when you first turn the computer on and if so...how many are there and are some longer beeps then others? If the computer itself turns on...it could be the power supply is failing...hard to say at this point.

Hi,

The first problem that you are facing is of Display that you are saying "Screen do not come on". What I recommend you to check your display wire that connects your Monitor to the Display Card located in your System. You have to see if it is connected properly or not.

Secondly, you display may not come if there may be a problem with your monitor, there is a possibility that your monitor is not functioning properly, and your Keyboard and Mouse are working. To check if there is any problem with your monitor, please use your PC with another monitor to see if there is a display screen appeared. If it appears, then there is a problem with your monitor and if not then still there is a possibility that your display card is not functioning properly.

Please change your display card with another one to see if works.

I hope the above methods will resolve your problem. If not, you can still contact me for further issues.

Kind Regards,

Khawar Khalid

Are these wired or wireless, USB or PS2 connections..

PS2 Connectors should only be worked when the computer is Turned Off
USB can be Hot Swapped..

If USB try another USB port ..If PS2 make sure they weren't swapped by accident

You can adjust turn on or adjust settings for these features on the Use the computer without the mouse or keyboard page in the Ease of Access Center. Open the Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard page by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Ease of Access, clicking Ease of Access Center, and then clicking Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard.
Select the options that you want to use:
Use On-Screen Keyboard. This option sets On-Screen Keyboard to run when you log on to Windows. On-Screen Keyboard displays a visual keyboard with all the standard keys. You can select keys using the mouse or another pointing device, or you can use keys on the standard keyboard. For more information about using On-Screen Keyboard, see Type without using the keyboard (On-Screen Keyboard).

Use Speech Recognition. The option allows you to control the computer with your voice. With a microphone, you can speak commands that the computer will understand and respond to, as well as dictate text.

I need to reset my wireless mouse and computer, but cannot navigate on the screen without these tools. Please help. :)

Turn the computer off. Find the reset button on the keyboard & the other on the mouse. Sometimes they list the button as "calibrate" or even "Sync". Some models require that you push both buttons at the same time and hold them down to reset them to working order. Others only have one button on the mouse or keyboard to reset the calibration.

Reseting the mouse and keyboard has nothing to do with the pc. You can reset them with commands from your computer.

After you push the reset buttons, turn your computer on and see if your keyboard and mouse are now available.

This should solve your problem.

How to turn keyboard and mouse on

make sure there is new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard. Also the wireless receiever that connects to the computer is responding as well.

After you get new batteries put in and also have the receiever plugged in. press the caps lock, num lock keys and see if they light up on the receiver. If they light up then things are working, if they don't then bring up the notepad and see if any of the keys show up in notepad when you type and also see if the cursor on the screen moves for your mouse.

Hopefully both of them will work once you change batteries. If both don't work after changing batteries then you'll need to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse kit.

My keyboard and mouse dont work, if I plug in usb mouse and keyboard dont work

Go into your Bios by hitting one of your f keys when your computer starts up. Look through it and let me know if you have all of the USB support turned on. After you check that we can trouble shoot further.

Am I reading this wrong?
Are you saying that your keyboard does not work but your mouse will? Or are you saying that neither will work on USB?

Check your BIOS either way and let me know.

Do not rate this until we are finished trouble shooting.

Keyboard/mouse not working

You need to restore to a previous date before you installed the wireless mouse / keyboard.

If that dont work then your only solution is to format and reinstall since it might be you could have damaged a few vxd files window's needs to use those devices

(THIS IS ASSUMING THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD WERE CONNECTED PROPPERLY) AND THEN THE SYSTEM WAS TURNED ON

if that wasnt done

shut down compuer

2.) plug mouse into green ps2 port and keyboard into the blue one

3.) turn on computer
