Download them to a computer file. Then use the copy function of the computer to transfer them to where ever you want.

When transferring pics to computer from camera it will transfer some and then not transfer others saying they are duplicates when they are not. How do i get these others pics onto the computer?Ads by...

Your camera is not numbering consecutively...it is starting over each time...hence the duplicate numbers. You can use a card reader to download the pics to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can right-click the duplicates and rename them.

How do i remove older versiond of that i have f11 nd to factory s

to do that you have to reinstall clean and format the drive during it ...the actual use of the recovery disk ..or the recovery installation with the F11 is causing storage of junk ...so if you really want a clean installation you have to use a installation disk of the operation system ..and boot from the disk to install and install the drivers and the programs manually after finishing the installation of the op.system ..
so ...first save data...than look for a bootable disk ..and than download or retrieve the drivers for sound .image.devices like lan card and blue tooth ...and when you have all proceed
in Xp case its easier to find a image and make a disk ...but for vista you have to ask someone or to buy it ..
Let me know what you intend to do ..and I will advice you on..

I've got an EOS 30D and when I shoot RAW images along with regular ones I can't find the RAW images. Are they somehow embedded in the other images? I run Windows on a PC and download the images direct from...

I haven't come across that particular problem as of yet. My only questions is; why shoot both RAW and JPEG at the same time? It would be memory consuming. I shoot only RAW unless I'm shooting sporting events.
I typically use Canon's DPP software to download from the camera, so I've not lost an image. I may have to take some test shots using your method to see what happens. I run Vista, so we'll see.

Suddenly the camera is not working !!!

You have to try format the memory card in your camera ?
You write, that "setup" is working
Might be the need of memory updating - computer does mainly harms to the camera if used to operate inside of camera ;-(

Own experience and twice - is, that the camera had lost all pictures from memorycard.
Happily enough a program downloaded from the net was helping.

Wish good luck!

Downloading pictures from Canon Ixus to PC are being duplicated.

Hi Jaime, I used to have Zoombrowser and I know the setting you need to change, but please excuse me if my directions to it are not exact because I haven't used it for a while.

From memory the setting to fix this problem is in the Download Settings (or something similar to that), which you access from one of the menus in the top bar (it is in one of the drop down menus towards the right of the screen, ie, at the other end of the bar from the File menu).

In the Download Settings have a look around and you should be able to find somewhere that says "Download All", "Download New images Only" - select that you want to download news images only.

Sorry I can't be more specific as to where the setting is exactly, but it's been a while since I used Zoombrowser. The other option you have is to copy the files you want manually: Connect your camera as per normal to your computer, go to My Computer where the camera will be showing up as an external drive (eg, E or F and so on), double click this icon and browse to your image files. Then sort by Date and copy the ones you have taken since you last downloaded.

Let me know if you need more help.

If your computer has a SD card reader, you might be better off putting your memory card into your computer and just copying the data.

Have you made sure your iPhoto is up to date? Perhaps a new update caused this problem.. Maybe you should try an older version of the software. Also, you might want to try other software. (I think you are on a mac?), you might want to try the software that came with the camera, if it works on your computer.

Accentuating colour

If you have PhotoShop,
1. Go to Image and duplicate your photo
2. Go to Image, Adjustments, Hue & Saturation. Make a few changes and watch the preview till the image appeals to you.

This works for me and my Ixus. Other imageware may work similarly

Two copies of the same image printed

Batch printing all images in camera memory while the camera's album generator feature is enabled, will cause such duplicate printing. This is because the album generator creates two images in camera memory: the normal image and a preview image. Batch printing all images will result in the camera printing both the normal image and the preview image. What you should do - Use the camera's DPOF settings to specify the images you want to print. Using DPOF is very simple, and it eliminates the problem of double prints. * See the User's Guide for details about DPOF image settings, specifying the number of copies, date stamping, etc. - The album generation feature also has a delete function for deleting generated album data, so you could also delete the album before batch printing.
