Hi.

Double check that the ribbon is correctly placed on printer.

If you are printing on to thermal paper, ensure you have set the
DSW2-1 to ON to configure the printer for direct thermal print-
ing.

Check that the ribbon is not sticking to the label. This can hap-
pen if the darkness setting is too high. Try lowering darkness settings.

Ensure that the ribbon spindle is rotating freely on the spindle.
If it is not an error message will appear.

Ensure that you are using original ribbons. Ribbons have a mark at the back of label, compatible ribbons from third party may cause problems.

Regards.

Reset printer sensor threshold setting.

Turn on printer whilst holding down line key untill printer beeps.

Use feed key to step to Gap in display.
Load label plus backing under sensor and not volts reading.
remove labels and place backing only under sensor and note volts reading.
use following formula
High reading + Low reading / 0.5 = Value to use
e.g 2.8 + 1.4 / 0.5 = 2.1.

use result to change value of input using line key once set press feed key to set.

To change label start position use the pitch menu.

We have a Sato 480e that prints shipping tickets. It will not print now because it says "Paper End" when there is plenty of paper. I've cleaned the rollers, and changed the paper roll. What else can I try?

If continuous, make sure dip switches are set to continuous.
