Freezing during gaming and monitor tur...
I have an ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series and I am running windows XP pro, plus I have 1 gig of ram.
Regardless, I can play a game for a bit but after a while it actually freezes for a few seconds (especially dawn of war) then the monitor turns black, clicks and then the game resumes (sometimes) for a bit longer before continuing this cycle.

i had the same problem (other video card ) and it was fixed by using other drivers ! Try a driver update. Also if u can check the temperature of the card, it may get to hot, but usualy when this happens the computer freezes completely or reboots ...If so clean it;s cooler or help it with another one (if possible ) ...
