Re: docucolor 12

Do you need a part number for that? Is that what your asking?
You can go to a site
And see what they have under Doc 12s. If you cant find it on the site, call them at the number on the site and talk to Britt.
Or Joe.
They most likely can help you.
I just am not 100 percent sure what your asking for.
try this site ok. I deal with them several times a month and they will help you out.

My xerox xc830 prints bout 1/2 page and then stops and the paper light comes on. The paper is not stuck in the machine it is just laying there. How can I fix this problem? I have looked for someone to...

The jamming with the copy half way thru is almost always a broken fuser drive gear. The fuser unit is the part that gets hot as the paper exits the machine. Check the back side of this unit. You will see a gear, or part of a gear that is about 1.5 inches across. Either that gear breaks or the cog inside of it shears off and this causes the fuser not to turn. Very inexpensive part at less than $15 and pretty easy to change.
Part number for the gear if you need it is NGERH0540FCZ3
If you had the part I am sure you could find someone to install it if you don't feel comfortable with doing it.
Good Luck

Xerox docucolor 12 system fault 15-362

Fault Code 15-362 - CAUTION: The Fuser Roll remains in a cammed-up position if power to the copier is interrupted while the copier is in use. The Fuser Roll will not be released from its position until the power is restored, the Power Switch is in the On position, and the Start button is pressed again. If the Fuser Roll remains in the cammed-up position for a prolonged period of time, copy quality defects will occur. To prevent damage to the Fuser Roll, switch the Power On as soon as possible after the power is restored, and make a copy of a document. If the machine is a DC 12LP send a print job from a workstation to prevent damage to the Fuser Roll.

Docucolor 12 Power problem

Check the fuse in the plug, 13 amp, the trip switch on the back of the machine, if not then its probably a power supply problem on the machine. you dont actually state the docucolour which has this problem.
Also as for the waste containers, why do you want to know about something that is a given. The answer is they work differently, if you really want to know about the inside workings i will tell you but you will be bored

make sure all the connections are in good shape. Look for a broken or slightly burnt connector.
A pinched wire may be the problem.
And the over heat thermistor may have blown.
Its a fuser sensing code. You may have to replace the fuser itself.
