Question about Epson ZDS/ ECM-A0653 10.4 LCD
(1) I have a C87 Printer that used to work on a parrallel port however a connection nut fell off the housing of the port so it was a bit wobblie.I tried to glue it with araldite but it didn't stick.
(2)So I put a USB port card into my computer (Pentium 3) My programs are WindowsXP.
(3)Under instruction I then changed the ports by clicking on to;-
Control Panel then
Printers then select
Epson C87 & right clicked then
clicked on Ports then
removed the tick from LPT1 to USB local port
then pressed apply
(4) Then I pressed the test page and it worked perfectly, then I got some printing done off a website and that worked well but when I wanted to print off an e- mail it wouldn't work and the same with my documents.
(5)Then I decided to re-install to happier times like two days before but the calanders didn't seem to give me a choice so I had to go back a couple of months
When I turn on the printer and click the print button my computer makes all the right windows and noises but nothing, it talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk
My name is Paul Drake and my e-mail is email@example.com
In view of the original poster's lack of interest and the long time since it was posted, I think we can call this one "Solved by Poster".
