Some songs read 'unknown'

When my daughter tries to add songs onto her e250, a group of the songs will inevitable read 'unknown', and they will not play.

This didn't do anything. I renamed two of the songs that came up as 'unknown', and they still come up as 'unknown'. Plus, of all the songs that did load properly, none of them were named with lower case letters. Is anyone else having this proble,?

I was able to find the solution off of the Sandisk chatboard. In case anyone has this problem, for the songs that don't work, right click the song, then click properties. Next, click the summary tab, and click advanced. Then you can input the data such as artist, and song title, and you'll be all set.

You need to make shure does songs end in .mp3 with lowercase letters for the song title its just a encryption problem!

rename all the songs after download from the net then put them in the mp3 player ! its not recognising the letters from the original persone who wrote the titles

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

This player also has a known problem of occasionally losing the information for some songs. Random occurrence. It'll lose some of the ID3 tags of some songs.

Sansa E250 how do I put songs onto the mp3

Go to My Computer and then look for the Sansa 250 icon there. If it doesn't show up, unplug the USB cord and plug it in again. Once you have the icon visible in My Computer, click on it twice and open it up. To load content, go to wherever you have MP3 files or whatever and use Windows Explorer to copy the content from your computer to the Sansa. You can also manage it through Real Player or other MP3 players (Media Monkey).

My songs wont add onto my sandisk sansa mp3 player

What format are the songs you're not able to hear? It's possible that the songs are not in a format the Sansa can play.

Also, you can navigate your Sansa like a removable drive. Try going to "My Computer" and looking to see what's actually on the drive.

Will eventually lose songs downloaded?

Okay, here's what i've encountered:  songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected.  once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs.  songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message.  its best to wait at least 24 hours).  good luck

Synchronize to continue your music subscription

Do you have an account with Rhapsody? The preloaded music is part of the Rhapsody subscription service. If you dont have an account, you will receive that message until you delete the preloaded music, or subscribe to the Rhapsody Service. Best of Luck.
