Hi,

Please remove the IDE cable from Hard drive and from HDD controller ,re-connect the cable with HDD and HDD controller. If still not resolved then connect with another IDE cable and check it .if not resolved then check with another HDD controller and check in the BIOS its detecting or not .If not then issue that Hard drive is faulty might be logic card .its better call vendor for repair it.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Bios update for P4VP-MX

Try here.

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/BIOS/Asus/Asus-P4VP-MX-Bios-112.shtml

Read the notes on flashing BIOS's before trying to flash your bios (if you stuff up I don't think there is anyway back).

Good luck.

Processor for P5VDC-MX

Hey there alcouto, your motherboard supports Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium 4, and Intel Pentium D processors. The socket set is LGA775. The FSB should be no higher than 800Mhz. It appears you have purchased the wrong CPU for your board. I hope the rest of the info helps you on your next purchase. Good Luck!
