Turn up the volume on the left or right speakers or turn down the center channel volume to meet your preferences. There should be a setting for that in most receivers.

I been having a problem with my JBL TLX CSS-SUB1, I don't have the manual. Connecting speaker wires from the JBL TLX CSS-SUB1 to the a Digital Audio/Video Control Center ( it's a reciever) I confused,...

The connection on the receiver would be the sub woofer out. Not a sub woofer out LFE, a sub woofer out with speaker wire connection. From there you plug it in to the top section of the available terminals on the sub you are referring to (speaker level input). One in positive and the other in negative matching what you did on the receiver with correct ends. The speaker connections underneath the top connections is for additional speakers like surrounds to be able to be connected directly to the sub woofer speaker level out for sound. This of course would be for an older receiver connection. I do not think it is possible to convert this connection to an LFE and have it work properly. If the receiver does not have sub woofer speaker connection and only a RCA out then you can try to connect both rear speaker connections from the receiver to the speaker level inputs on the sub and then connect your rear speakers to the speaker level output on the sub to power them. This is an active sub woofer but for some reason they made it connect as if it was passive. I am not sure if this sub is designed for really low frequencies required for movie or if it is better for music.

What do i hook the sub woofer to

the sub woofer speaker should be connected to the Center, the main speakers should be set to the front and the secondary ones in the rear....(front = main just in case surround is not on, center = is for that ump / boom sound, rear = that just pass you by (make you look behind yourself)

configure ur PC (both OS audio and third party sound driver) for surround sounds. control panel- sounds and audio devices - speaker settings - advanced - speker settings. so this done. make sure u select the 6 input channel - the button is on the right edge near the volume knob. near the vol button there are two buttons for selecting input type with up down arrow. from that u can select the input type this will be indicated on the top front indicator. but with the 6 input channel selected all selections are preceeded. if u select stereo mode u will have left/ right audio only.
make sure u connect the input right. connect from computer to 6 channel input. main, surround, center and sub-woofer.  connect the spekers to main (L/R), rear(surround) (L/R), center and sub woofer to terminal marked sub woofer ouput. this done select like i said before the 6 channel button. that should do it.

Only the front left and right + sub woofer work. the front center and two rear speakers do not work. when i set the options to speaker fill all the speakers work but the bass suddenly goes very weak. why?

This is your surround sound system they should work when you are watching a movie with surround sound. make sure that you polarity are correct on all speakers.
