Question about Apple iPod touch
Forgot my password to my i-pod touch and need to get in
I'm to have to tell you this but... The only way I know how to get past that is to restore the iPod in iTunes then when it's done, set up as a new iPod. I suggest putting the iPod into recovery mode first.
Hold the top button and the home button until the apple logo appears then let go of the top button and keep holding the home button. A picture with an arrow pointing to iTunes should come up.
Plug your iPod into iTunes now and click restore. When it is done restoring, it will ask you if you want to set it up as a new iPod or restore to previous settings. SET IT UP AS A NEW IPOD!!!! Now resync all of your applications and music.
Their may be a better solution out there, but this is the only one I know.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You will need to hook it up to the PC and use the "restore" function to get pass this. This will remove everything off the Ipod but you can easily just sync it again afterwards

You need to restore it with your itunes library. If the ipod is not yours or you purchased it from someone or what ever you can bypass this by turning your ipod off ... hold the bottom button when you connect it to your pc it should ask you if you want to restore the ipod ...all info on the player will be lost but you cant use it anyway when it is locked hope this helps

You need to Restore it. Just plug it into the computer you sync it too(it must be that one), open up iTunes and select your iPod in the list to the left, then right under the big picture of your iPod you will see a button that says "Restore," click it. Restoring it will take about 10-15 minutes, but it will take the lock off.
Hope this helps.
