Question about Panasonic NV-GS35 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
The audio circuit is integrated into the main board inside the camcorder.
Try doing play back of an old tape that you know it was OK with sound. If you still get the problem then something on internal audio has blown.
In that case call the number listed on the owner manual to get a quote on repair. When you call Panasonic point out that you did not do any improper use of the camera. If they acknowledge this is a factory defect, you may get a discount on repair or a free replacement.
