How do i reset the formatting card on kodak m380 camera

Don't use the card, till you recovered the pictures on it.
Use an external memory card reader, connected to a computer and run a recover program.
On these sites you find software to recover files (pictures and more) from a "damaged" or formatted memory card or even from a hard drive.
free software to recover your files on a memory card: with free trail with free evaluation version
Some programs will show the deleted files, but only recover a few files. If you want to recover more files they want you to pay. If so, try another program on the list.

Blurry Pictures

Could be two reasons...1. You need to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way. 2. You could be moving as you press the shutter button.

Kodak m380 wont read sdhc card

There can be a few reasons for this.

First ensure that the little lock protect switch on the card itself is not in the lock position - see image below.

Next ensure that the camera is capable of handling the size of card you are using (Maximum supported card size is 32 GB for the M380).

Finally have a look at my FixYa Tip on this subject as this is troubleshoots a common source or card read failures on these cameras. (See link below). If you find this solution helpful please do take a moment to rate it and thanks for using FixYa.

The lens on my m380 is stuck open and it will not turn on

This s common with these cameras. You can try holding power button or remove battery, hold power button while putting batteries back in.
Lastly, the firmware may need to be updated and Kodak will repair it for $50 or you may get lucky enought to find update on the web
