How to program harpsichord sound on Yamaha S30 keyboard synthesizer?

I already have the manual and tried to find the info. The language is simply too technical for me. Could you possibly reference the page on which the instructions to access the harpsichord sound are found?

Hello. Here is a downloadable and free copy of the manual for this keyboard. As you may know, this keyboard is no longer available, but still a multifunctional instrument
http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/synth/S30E1.pdf
As you read through the manual you will see that the harpsichord sound is already programmed into your keyboard. If however, you wish to add to that you can program other harpsichord sounds. see p. 8 and 18.

Here is a link to the owners manual. I believe you have to get an add on card to have the harpsichord. If you need any other assistance let me know.
Thank you,
Lee

Your pedal may be the wrong polarity for this keyboard. Different manufacturers wire differently. And some use trs 1/4" and others use ts 1/4". Contact Yamaha customer service to get the correct pedal for your instrument.

1) Turn the power on.

2) While pressing the [VOICE] button, press and hold the [BANK D] button, then the [8] button. The SY77 will run the INITIAL TEST routine and display the Test Program Menu.

3) Press the [COPY] button. The SY77 will execute Test 48 'Factory Settings', automatically exit the test mode, and then return to play mode.

I'm familiar with repairing everything about keyboards/pianos, but I forgot how to replace the key assembly on a yamaha s30. It's funny, I just replace a key assembly on a yamaha s30 a month ago. My...

Yamaha has two type keys... one is weighted with a metal counterweight and the other uses silicone domes with conductive rubber pill contacts. Those are easy as you need to clean the pills and the circuit traces they contact with Qtips and 99% isoprophyl alcohol. Then lay the sheet ovra the indexing pins and put on the white key pieces and then the black and install the screws that secure them.
The weighted ones are tricky as sometimes you have to remove some keys and put them in a certain order. There is a leaf spring under each and one needs to get it tucked up in the right place, One first has to tuck the one part toward the player to engage the switch action and then move it toward the back and engage the back pivot... not easy to describe on here.
