My Samsung Propel screen is black with a red

When I put in my battery a red bar line comes up with black background and blue lines around the side and it says "DOWNLOAD" How can I fix this

i think your mobile display strip wire is damage go to repair shop and repair it thanks

I was able to fix my propel by repeatedly plugging and unplugging the charger from the phone until the "download" screen went away. 2 hours with at&t tech support an they told me i needed a new phone,geez

I turned it off, then took the battery out for 5 minutes then put in back in and turned it back on, this should work, however for me it didn't so i turned it off and on again on doing this it went to the normal loading screen

Okay heres what you do guys!!! Just happened to me today and I fixed it. Mine was at the bottom of a hottub for 2 days XD.

The power in the phone needs to run out
then, plug the phone up
wait about 30 seconds(download screen should be up and it is charging xD.)
Then Take the battery out and unplug the charge from the phone
Stick the battery back in
Wait about 30 more seconds
Hold down the Red Phone untill it turns on.

FIXED! YAYYYYY!

the phone needs service, when it got wet it damaged the mother board of the phone.

ok had the same a767 propel for att in white
Drove me crazy that the phone was in download screen mode
So best fix and it is proven :is to open phone and disconnect small battery on mother board of the phone then leave it out for about 2 mins and leave it out

then put it back together all fixed works and powers up just fine :)

well that happened to me so i blow dried it...took out the battery and SIM CARD AND CHARGED IT...i unplugged it let the sim card battery and phone sit alone...for about an hour...then i put them in and it didn't say download so i held the end button...and its back to NEW

Definitely black and red. There are red and white ones but i would still suggest black and red.

that happened to me yesterday i tried taking out everything like the battery and the sim card and then the DOWNLOAD screen wont turn off
