Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Hi, I'm thinking you toner is low, and shaking it is just scraping the edges, I suggest replacing toner, are you using genuine toner?
The other things that cause faintness would not go away via a toner shake with the only possibility's that I can imagine, beside incorrect, non makers or low toner is the developer unit not turning correctly or something a miss with the toner hopper, another thing you could try is to cleaan or replace the primary charge roller....but before I go any deeper, please confirm you have tried another "Canon" toner and have the same result.
Cheers from Oz
