Central locking

When you replace the batteries in a key fob you usually have to reprogram (kind of a sync) the fob to the car. Each manufacturer is different and usually involves turning the key over a certain number of times ( like 8) then operating the fob in a certain way like holding the lock button down for three or so seconds. I found out how to do mine on YouTube

Camera won't turn on with fully charged batteries in it.

Hi,

try cleaning the battery contacts. At certain instances it may be necessary to scrape them or to partially bend them that they provide a bit more pressure towards the battery terminals.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Turns on and won't turn off has a picture of a battery and a flower

Try to push the ON/OFF button longer or harder. If the problem persist, take the batteries off then put in again into your camera.
Picture of battery shows your battery stats full/empty.
Picture of flower is indicator that you use "MACRO" mode, this is mode when you have to take a small picture with near range between object and lens while capturing the picture, not suggested for taking daily pictures. If you don't need this function you can turn off the "MACRO" mode, certain camera have dedicated button to adjust it, but see the manual to make sure.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please, thank you.

My kodak C160 won't turn on,its brand new,i think the batteries are dead, they r new too,but should i change them?

take a good look in the way you put them ..also insert only good alkaline batteries ..cause this things will not open with cheap ones..it needs something really good like Duracell ...or so...and another thing ...always get the batteries out of the camera when you are not taking pictures...if you take a look in tha manual it says the same ..the discharge themselves even if the camera is not on...it has something to do with internal consumers..
so ..even if the batteries are good alkaline ...and new..if they were left a few days in the camera ...change them ...when you go to the store also may try a few ones to see which kind it is powering it on..cause I also had problems with new ones...and pretty good...
sometimes just do not supports certain kind It may have something to do with the amperage

My Tecra won't turn on at all - i just got it with no instructions and don't know if it is even needing another cable - how many cables and what kind do you need to turn the power on - not going on now

Hi,
If battery is charged you do not need a cable. Otherwise use the adapter that must certainly shipped with it. Plug one end of the adapter cable in the computer and the other to the wall socket.

Hope it helps.

I don't know how to turn it on, insert the card properly, use the DV disc that came with the product all basic insturctions!

The battery has to be charged for a couple of hours, first.

If you camera uses AA batteries, use new alkaline batteries (not Li-Ion or "Heavy Duty").... be certain of the correct polarity when inserting batteries into camera.

What kind of camera is it? brand & model, please ...

Fuji s3 does not turn on...

You have done the right thing, so far. That which I would first have suggested. Congratulations! You would be surprised how many persons ignore the need for fresh batteries.

Yes, the camera should now be reset, and if that fails, service is required to make certain of your investment.

However, the battery must first be determined to be an actual Fuji battery, and if not, this is not your fault.

Please read the following:

Recommendation for Use of Genuine Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery Pack for FUJIFILM Digital Cameras Thank you for using Fujifilm Products.
It has been our policy to recommend that the genuine Fujifilm rechargeable battery pack be used for Fujifilm digital cameras that use a battery pack.
However, it has been confirmed that there are certain counterfeit battery packs available in the market that look very similar to a genuine Fujifilm rechargeable battery pack.
Some of these may not comply with safety standards, they may cause serious problems, such as overheating, leaking, bursting, or fire.
For your safety, we would like to remind you to only use genuine Fujifilm rechargeable battery packs for Fujifilm digital cameras.
