Question about Canon Powershot SD450 / IXUS 55 Digital Camera
My camera was working fine. Suddenly, the screen went black when I go to take pictures. I can't see a thing. Then, a day later, when I go to take a picture, it beeps at me, and turns off. The lens will not retract in. It is permanently out. I can view my old pictures, but can not take any.
Sound like the sensor or recoding electronics are bad. The camera is most likely beyond economical repair and I would buy a new one.
